Chalet Hotel is situated on Chowrasta, The Mall and is the only hotel in Darjeeling that has a few rooms offering the view of the center of The Mall – right where people congregate in the evening to enjoy the happenings on The Mall at Darjeeling!

This is a Heritage building constructed in the year 1906 and we have tried to maintain the original structure as much as possible. In the British era, this was apparently a dancing hall and the entrance arches to that hall are still in view. Ours is not a swanky hotel with all modern facilities – but that it has an ancient charm and a homely atmosphere.

We are a small hotel with a loyal following of patrons who re-visit us quite often as also recommend it to their friends and family. And because of this reason, Chalet Hotel bookings are not available anywhere online nor do we actively entertain Travel Agents. Our emphasis is on the relationships built with our long standing clients and to primarily serve their requirements.
